ISABELL

High standability and strong in protein

Benefits:

  • Medium-long variety with good standability
  • Strong in yield with high protein content
  • ISABELL convinces with good resistance to botrytis, ascochyta and rust
  • High previous crop value for winter wheat and winter oilseed rape, ISABELL interrupts disease cycles in intense oilseed rape and cereal crop rotations
  • Part of the control strategy against blackgrass and equalization of the working peaks

Cultivation recommendations:

Recommended sowing rate Optimal seed conditions: 35 - 40 grains/m²; unfavorable seed conditions: 45 - 50 grains/m²
Sowing depth Medium to heavy soils: 6 - 8 cm; light soil: 8 - 10 cm
Sowing period Good ground condition and navigability are crucial. In frost-free soil from February to early April.
Fertilization No N-fertilization, basic fertilization after withdrawal: e.g. medium ground level, average yield level: 40 - 60 kg P2O5/ha; 100-130 kg K2O/ha; 20-50 kg MgO/ha
Crop protection Herbicide treatments are possible in the pre- and post-emergence. Well suited for mechanical weed control.
Sowing method Drill seed into a solid, finely crumbled seedbed.
Harvest Good to very good threshing suitability by uniform maturation and very good standability, harvest at 15 - 19% grain moisture. Danger of broken grains when the crop is too dry, choose gentle harvester setting.
